Platan Ltd. is a leading Polish producer of IP-PBX Telephone Systems. Thanks to our comprehensive offer, we are capable of satisfying the most sophisticated requirements of a wide range of customers, from small and medium companies to large enterprises, public offi ces and institutions, as well as rescue and uniformed services. As many as almost one million Poles are already using Platan products. The company takes advantage of the experience gained by its founding companies, Digitex and Micronet, which have been ranking among the most innovative players on the Polish electronic market since 1985, offering telecommunication and radio communication solutions.
Every third PBX exchange sold in Poland in 2008 was created in Platan.
Our marketshare in Poland accounts for 32%*, taking into account the number of PBXs sold. That gives us the leading position.
Platan is also a producer of digitex Integrated Notification Systems (www.digitex.pl), used for alarming, signalling and providing radio communication for rescue services. Digitex Integrated
Notification Systems are widely used not only by Civil Defence (for example in Emergency Management Centres – EMCs) but also by Fire Services, Emergency Ambulance Services, Police and other services as well as by currently developing Emergency Notification Centres (ENCs).
